Penny Thief
June 8- 7:35 p.m.- Police were dispatched to a Great Plain Ave. residence regarding a break in report. Upon arrival, Officer Catherine McCullough was met by the homeowners. They explained that they had returned home that evening and not immediately noticed anything suspicious. Around 7:30 p.m., though, they realized that a small leather box containing loose change was missing from a downstairs bedroom that led to the backyard.
The homeowners stated that the exterior bedroom door had been left unlocked during the day. Upon further examination of the home, they also found loose change and a roll of pennies missing from the kitchen. Next to where the change had been left, they said, was a digital camera in its place. Small pieces of gold had also been taken from an upstairs bedroom, as well as a string of pearls.

Disturbance at Hasenfus Circle

Another vehicle then pulled up and a lone youth got out and entered the backyard.
Officers approached the house, rang the doorbell and were greeted by the homeowner. Police told the man why they were at the house and he stated that no one was home. After police told him of their observations, he then led them downstairs where police found his son, other youths and a couple of bongs.
