Police Log: Car Left Unattended for 5 Min, Broken Into
The thefts took place when the woman was helping her sister move.
A woman told police on Aug. 31 that she had left her vehicle unlocked and unattended for "five minutes" before discovering that it had been broken into.
The incident reportedly happened around 10:30 p.m. on Aug. 30. The reporting party told police that she had been helping her sister move some items into her room at the Sheraton Hotel and left her car unattended. She also remembers there being several people out side the hotel when they were unloading the car.
The woman stated that she didn't realize items were missing from the car until she got home and could not locate her MacBook computer, a black Coach bag, Rayban sunglasses and two textbooks.

The party was advised by police to contact her insurance company to see if she had theft coverage.
