Police Log: Dog Bite, Fake Checks, and More
The following is from the Needham Police Log. Arrests and charges mentioned do not imply conviction.

April 1
12:00 p.m. - Officers responded to a Highland Avenue business for a report of a past larceny. It appeared that a check was stolen from the business owner and used to make replica checks which were then cashed for various amounts. The matter is under investigation.

11:00 a.m. - Officers responded to a Kingsbury Street address for a report of a past dog bite. The victim stated that they were bitten by a dog in the Stevens Rd area. Officers went to the dog's residence and spoke to its owners. The owners were advised that the dog must stay on their property until the dog is evaluated by the animal control officer.
6:00 p.m. - An officer pulled a vehicle over on Dedham Avenue. After a brief investigation the operator, a 45-year-old New Bedford resident, will be summonsed to court for operating a motor vehicle with a revoked registration and for operating a motor vehicle without insurance.

9:00 p.m. - An officer pulled a vehicle over on Chestnut Street. After a brief investigation the operator, a 51-year-old Medfield resident, will be summonsed to court for operating a motor vehicle without insurance.
