Police Log: Motorist Pumps Gas for Free

Police were dispatched to at 8 p.m. on Dec. 14 for a report of a customer driving off without paying for gas. The reporting party told police that he saw a female pump gas into a grey and black Chevy Malibu.

After pumping the gas, the female reportedly got into the passenger side of the car and the vehicle drove off. The party said that he did not get a good look at the driver.

The car traveled down Highland Ave. and headed towards Newton. Needham dispatchers ran several different plate combinations, but none returned a Chevy Malibu
