Police Log: Needham Man Charged with Vandalism Twice in a Day and More
The following is from the Needham Police Log. Arrests and charges mentioned don't imply conviction.

October 21
7:00 p.m. - An officer initiated a traffic stop on Highland Avenue near Webster Street. The operator, a 54-year-old Everett woman, will be summoned for operating a motor vehicle with a revoked registration.
9:25 p.m. - An officer initiated a motor vehicle stop near the area of Highland and Second Avenues. After further investigation, it was determined that the operator of the vehicle was attaching plates. The operator, a 41-year-old Norwood woman, was criminally cited for attaching plates and operating an unregistered motor vehicle. The citation was handed to the operator in hand and the vehicle was towed and secured from the scene.

October 22
2:00 a.m. - An officer was dispatched to a St. Mary Street address on report of a party vandalizing a motor vehicle. Police did locate a man in the immediate area who was identified as the suspect. A 23-year-old from Needham will be summonsed to Dedham District Court for malicious destruction to a motor vehicle.

A person walked into the police station to report identity theft. The person stated that someone used her information to open up credit cards and tried using numerous Florida addresses. The person contacted Credit Bureaus and Lifelock identity protection.
Police a report of vandalism to a flagpole at a St. Mary Street address. A suspect had been identified from an earlier vandalism report in the area. As a result, a 23-year-old Needham male will be summonsed to Dedham District Court for the charge of defacement of property.
9:00 a.m. - An officer responded to a Laurel Drive residence to speak with a party about credit card fraud. The resident reported that his computer received a computer virus. He called the telephone number listed to repair the computer. He was conned into providing his credit card number for the charge of $600 to fix the computer. The resident then hung up and cancelled the credit card.
