Police Log: Rock Thrown Through Blue on Highland Window

Police were dispatched to Blue on Highland at 3:53 a.m. on Sept. 3 for a report of vandalism to the restaurant's window.

Officers took a report of two teenaged males wearing "light colored t-shirts and shorts," but neither the subjects nor other witnesses could be located.

The reporting party went on to say that he had exited the 7-Eleven across the street when he heard "a loud bang" before adding that he "looked to the right, towards where the bang came from and saw someone throw a rock through the window."

The party told police that he ran toward the suspects, but was unable to catch up with them.

Police photographed the scene and recovered the rock in question for evidence. Cones were also placed across the sidewalk to prevent pedestrians away from the damaged window.
