Police Log: Teen Draws on Library Wall with Crayon

The reporting party stated that the teen swore at him after he vandalized the wall.

Police were called to the Needham Public Library at 9:57 a.m. on Sept. 10 for a report of vandalism. When officers arrived they spoke with the reporting party, the latter of whom stated that a male party had left a marking on the front stonewall. The subject was believed to be about 15 years old, 5'10" and riding a red dirt bike.

Police investigated the wall and found a marking approximately five inches wide and 25 feet long. The mark appeared to have been made with crayon, though, and police believed it could be cleaned off.
