Police Log: Woman Charged with Assault with Lawn Furniture

Needham Police were contacted by Waltham PD at 12:12 a.m. on Sept. 6 regarding a woman that Waltham officers believed assaulted a person with lawn furniture.

Waltham PD stated that Julia Dephillippo, a 24-year-old Waltham woman, committed assault with a dangerous weapon and was on her way to her mother's house on Canavan Circle in Needham. Needham officers were asked to check the residence and told that Dephillippo may be driving a 2000 Toyota Camry.

Needham Police responded to the address and found the car in question running outside the home. A woman soon after exited the vehicle and was identified as Dephillippo. Police advised her that she was wanted by Waltham Police and placed under arrest. After booking was conducted in Needham, DePhillippo was transported to Waltham Police.
