Police Log: Worker Accused of Stealing Homeowner’s Tools

Worker, in turn, states that his tools are the ones being stolen.

Police responded to a Brookline St. residence for a disturbance report on July 27.

Officers met with a party at 12:38 p.m. who told them that he had hired someone to do work at the house. He had reportedly allowed the worker to use his new FEIN Multi Master power tool, but later saw the worker loading the tool into his vehicle.

Officer Matthew Palmer contacted the worker in question and asked about the theft. The worker stated that he had tools of his own and had no need to take anyone else's. he then stated that he believes the reporting party is stealing his tools.
