Police Report: Naked Man at Ridge Hill Reservation

A woman called police on Thursday, June 7 at around 3:15 p.m. to report seeing a naked man at on Charles River Street.

The woman said that when she tried to get the man’s attention, he appeared startled and got into his vehicle and left. The woman was not able to tell police which direction the man headed.

Dislodged Manhole Cover on West Street
Police were called to West Street near McCulloch Street on Tuesday, June 5 at around 1:47 p.m. for the report of a manhole cover that had come off.

Police located the cover about six to eight feet downhill from where it was supposed to be and also found a vehicle that appeared to have struck the dislodged cover. The vehicle had minor damaged to its undercarriage and was driven from the scene.

Bag of Feces Thrown at Door
A Melrose Avenue resident reported that a bag of burning feces had been left on his doorstep on Tuesday, June 5 at around 10:13 p.m. Someone had also thrown water balloons at his house, according to reports.

$80 Cash Stolen at YMCA
A Needham resident reported that someone stole $80 cash from his wallet while he was swimming at the YMCA on Great Plain Avenue on June 1. The wallet was in an unlocked locker.

Headphones, Coins Missing on Newell Avenue
A Newell Avenue resident reported that a pair of Bose headphones and about $100 in coins were missing from the home. There were no signs of forced entry.
