Police Reports: $350 Headphones Stolen from Locker

The following information was supplied by the Needham Police Department. Any charges mentioned do not indicate a conviction.

A student reported that a $350 pair of Beats headphones was stolen from his locker on Wednesday, May 2. The theft occurred sometime between 4 and 6 p.m. while the teen was at a baseball game, according to reports. There was no sign of forced entry to the locker.

Man Involved in Crash Shows Up on Resident’s Doorstep
A Mayo Avenue resident called police on Wednesday, May 2 after an individual who was involved in a vehicle crash with him earlier that day showed up at his home at 9:30 p.m. The caller said he just wanted to document the encounter.

Missing Concert Tickets
A Summit Road resident reported on Thursday, May 3 that someone had stolen concert tickets from their home. The resident said that workers had been at the home the previous day. The matter is under investigation.

Vehicles Broken Into Three Times
A Mark Lee Road resident reported that his two vehicles had been broken into three times in the past few months. The thief had stolen small bills and cash totaling $75. Both vehicles were unlocked at the time of the incidents.

Oak Street Resident Filming Students
Police were called to an Oak Street residence for the report of an individual filming students. The person was the owner of the property and was reportedly filming the kids because they were on his property.

Vandalism at Avery Square
Needham police discovered on Saturday, May 5 at around 5:27 a.m. that someone had overturned park benches, trashcans and a bike rack at Avery Square in Needham Heights. A mailbox at the corner West Street and Hillside Avenue had also been overturned. The items were restored, and no further damage was noted.
