Police Reports: Fire Extinguishers Stolen

Fire extinguishers were reported stolen from a Charles Street business on Tuesday, June 19.

An employee at , 30 Charles St., told police that the items had been taken at around 3:09 a.m. and provided security footage of the theft.

Taillight Damaged in Hit and Run Behind Starbucks
A hit and run was reported in the parking lot of at 910 Highland Ave. on Wednesday, June 20. The reporting party told police that he had parked his vehicle at around 12:55 p.m. and returned to find damage to his back passenger side bumper and taillight. There were no suspects at the time of the report.

Local Pharmacy Vandalized
Vandalism was reported on Wednesday, June 20 outside , 401 Great Plain Ave. Someone had used white spray paint outside the pharmacy sometime before 8 a.m. The matter is under investigation.

Driver Cited in Two-Car Crash
A Needham man was cited for failure to use care in turning after he was involved in a crash with another vehicle at Oak and Chestnut streets on Thursday, June 21. The crash occurred at around 8:33 a.m. and resulted in some unspecified property damage. The other driver, a Dover woman, was summonsed to court for unlicensed operation.

Internet Fraud on Mark Lee Road
A Mark Lee Road resident reported on Thursday, June 21 that he was the victim of Internet fraud.

Classmate Harassment Reported
A Rivard Road resident came to the station on Thursday, June 21 to report an ongoing harassment issue between their daughter and a classmate.

Driver Cited for Revoked Registration
A 25-year-old Needham man was found to have a revoked registration because of cancelled insurance after he was pulled over on Kendrick Street for having a defective brake light.

The traffic stop occurred on Thursday, June 21 at around 8:15 p.m. near Third Avenue. The operator was summonsed to Dedham District Court for defective equipment, operating after a revoked registration and having an uninsured motor vehicle.

Attempted Break-in at Mobil Station
The front door to a local gas station was damaged in an apparent attempted break-in on Friday, June 22.

Police responded to a business alarm at , 1111 Great Plain Ave., at around 2:43 a.m. They found the front door and lock damaged. It appeared that a large, flat object had been used to pry open the door. No items were reported missing. The matter is under investigation.
