Police Reports: Kid On Scooter Damages Vehicle
The following information was supplied by the Needham Police Department. Any charges mentioned do not indicate a conviction.

A Captain Robert Cook Drive resident reported on Tuesday, July 24 that a child riding a scooter had damaged her vehicle. It was unclear whether the damage was done accidentally or deliberately. The incident occurred on Monday, July 23 after 11:30 p.m.

Contractor Charged With Threatening Employer
Police were called to North Hill on Wednesday, July 25 for the report of a contractor that had made threats against his employer. Police sought a complaint against a 34-year-old Leicester man for threatening to commit a crime.

Driver Hits Construction Vehicle
Police responded to a past hit and run crash incident an Oak Hill residence on Thursday, July 26 at around 2:44 p.m. A local resident had struck a construction vehicle and left the scene. Police tracked down the driver, a 73-year-old Needham woman, and she was cited for the accident.
Vehicle Break-in On Parish Road
A Parish Road resident reported on Friday, July 27 that someone had broken into his vehicle. The man noticed at around 7 a.m. that the vehicle’s doors were ajar and then discovered that the vehicle had been rummaged through. Only loose change was reported missing.

Items Returned to Harris Avenue Resident
A Harris Avenue resident came to the police station on Saturday, July 28 to claim some items that a neighbor had found and turned in the day before. The items had been removed from a vehicle in the driveway.
Vehicle Violation
A 59-year-old West Roxbury woman was summonsed to court for driving with revoked registration because of cancelled insurance, after being pulled over in Needham on Wednesday, July 25.
