Police Reports: Mailbox Damaged on Louart Drive

A Louart Drive resident reported on Wednesday, April 25 that someone had crashed into their mailbox, breaking it off the post, and left the scene without notifying them. Police found tread marks in the mulch below the mailbox, according to reports.

Hit and Run at Trader Joe’s
Police responded to the report of a hit and run in the parking lot of on Wednesday, April 25. The vehicle owner told police that sometime between 4 and 4:30 p.m. someone had struck the right rear corner of his bumper.

Wellesley Woman Cited in Hit and Run
A Wellesley woman was cited for multiple traffic violations after she left the scene of a two-vehicle crash in Needham on Thursday, April 26.
The crash occurred at the intersection of Hillside Avenue and West Street at around 5:30 p.m. When police arrived at the scene, one of the drivers had already left. She was later identified as a 64-year-old woman from Wellesley.

The woman was summonsed to Dedham District Court for failure to stop at a stop sign, leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident with property damage and operating with an expired license.
