Police Reports: Medfield Youth Leaves Crash Scene After Driving Without License

The following information was supplied by the Needham Police Department. Any charges mentioned do not indicate a conviction.

A Medfield youth who was driving without a valid license was charged with leaving the scene of an accident after he walked away from a crash on Central Avenue near the Needham on Thursday, June 28.

Local police responded to the report of a vehicle off the road at around 3:30 a.m. After an investigation, police tracked down the driver, a Medfield juvenile. The individual will be summonsed to Dedham District Court on charges of leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident, operating to endanger, using a motor vehicle without authority and unlicensed operation and speeding.

Multiple Cases of Vandalism on Southfield Court
A Southfield Court resident reported on Wednesday, June 27 that various types of vandalism have been occurring in her neighborhood. Police were advised to do extra patrols in the area.

Needham Man Arrested on OUI, Outstanding Warrant
A Mann Avenue resident was arrested for OUI after he was confronted about an outstanding warrant and was found to allegedly have been driving while intoxicated.

On Friday, June 29 at around 6:25 p.m., Needham Police received information that a man with an outstanding warrant had been dropped off at a Warren Street address. Officers, with assistance from the Norfolk County Sheriff's Department K-9 unit, attempted to apprehend the individual, but he was not at the location. Police waited for him to return to the address, which he did at around 9:45 p.m. He was arrested on the outstanding warrant and for OUI liquor.
