Police Reports: NH Man Arrested For OUI

A New Hampshire man was arrested for drunk driving in Needham after he made an illegal u-turn in Needham on Monday, March 5.
Police observed a vehicle around 2:05 a.m. make an illegal u-turn on Highland Avenue near Second Avenue and pulled it over. Upon speaking with the driver, a 47-year-old man from Manchester, NH, the Needham officer noted a “strong odor of alcohol,” according to reports.
The driver was arrested for operating under the influence of alcohol and cited for the u-turn violation. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

Florida Man Passes Fraudulent Check at Needham Business
A First Avenue business reported on Monday, March 5 that someone had passed a fraudulent check. The check was written for a “substantial” amount and had been drawn on a fraudulent account, according to reports. A 24-year-old Florida man will be summonsed to appear in Dedham District Court for forgery, uttering and larceny by check.
Dealer Plate Lost
A dealer plate was reported missing from a vehicle at on TV Place on Tuesday, March 6 around 9:30 a.m. The plate is believed to have been lost on Route 128, according to reports.
Money Missing From Pollard Teacher’s Wallet
A teacher contacted police on Tuesday, March 6 around 10:45 a.m. to report that money was missing from her wallet. The money is believed to have gone missing on March 5. The matter is under investigation.
