Police Reports: Phone Stolen from Sprint Display

A cell phone was reported stolen on Friday, May 18 from a display at the on Highland Avenue. The phone was described as a Samsung Epic 4G. The matter remains under investigation.

Woman’s Card Used Fraudulently at Casino
A Pickering Street resident reported on Friday, May 18 that her debit card had been used fraudulently at Twin Rivers Casino in Lincoln, RI.

The woman told police that she had used the card on April 6 to withdraw $104 but that $204 had been charged against her account. On April 27, the card was used to charge $144 again at Twin Rivers; however, the woman had not been at the casino that day.

Police advised the woman to call her other financial institutions to prevent further fraudulent activity.

Youths Asked Not to Skateboard on Street
Police spoke with a group of youths on Friday, May 18 after receiving complaints about them skateboarding down the hill on Hillcrest Road near Woodledge Road. The youths were told not to skateboard on the street anymore.

Waltham Man Driving with Revoked License
A Waltham driver was pulled over on Thursday, May 17 for not having brake lights and was found to have a revoked license. The man, a 29-year-old Waltham resident, will be summonsed to Dedham District Court for operating with a revoked license.

Landscapers Break Vehicle Window
Police were called to on Highland Avenue on Thursday, May 17 for the report of a broken vehicle window. Police determined that landscapers in the area had damaged the vehicle. Those responsible are making arrangements to pay for the damage, according to reports.
