Police Reports: Resident Struck Landscaper with Rake

A local landscaper contacted police on Monday, April 9 after a Dell Avenue resident allegedly struck him in the face with a rake during an argument over leaves being blown into the resident’s yard.
The landscaper told police he had been doing work at a residence on Page Road when the resident of a nearby home on Dell Avenue confronted him, claiming the landscaper had blown leaves into the resident’s yard. The two began to exchange words when the resident allegedly struck the landscaper in the face with a rake, according to reports. The landscaper suffered minor injuries.
The matter is under investigation.

Drivers Injured in Crash
Two individuals were injured in a two-vehicle crash at Fisher Street near Central Avenue on Thursday, April 12. The incident occurred at about 9 a.m. Both operators were transported to the hospital with minor injuries. One of the drivers was cited for failure to yield to oncoming traffic.

iPhone Stolen from NHS Student’s Locker
A student reported on Thursday, April 12 that his iPhone had been stolen from his locker at school. During the investigation, police located the phone at another student’s home in Needham. The phone was recovered and returned to its owner, according to reports. The second student, a 16-year-old Needham male, is being charged with receiving stolen property.
Checking Fraud Reported
A Lexington Avenue resident reported fraudulent activity on his checking account on Monday, April 9.
Traffic Violation
A 36-year-old Waltham man was cited for driving with a suspended license after he was stopped on Webster Street near May Street on Wednesday, April 11.
Credit Card Fraud
A Coulton Park resident reported credit card fraud on Wednesday, April 11. The matter is under investigation.
