Police Reports: Vehicle Window Smashed

The driver’s side window of a vehicle parked at a business on Reservoir Street was smashed in on Friday, March 16. Nothing in the vehicle was taken. The incident is being investigated.

A Framingham resident reported that her laptop computer was taken from her workplace on Highland Avenue on Saturday, March 17. The matter is under investigation.

Dishwasher Repair Call Suspicious
A Great Plain Avenue resident contacted police on Friday, March 16 after receiving a suspicious phone call from an appliance repair company. The caller had tried to set up an appointment to inspect the resident’s dishwasher. After an investigation, police found that the company was legitimate.

Credit Card Fraud Reported
A Pleasant Street resident contacted police on Friday, March 16 after discovering that someone had used her information to open a credit account and purchase merchandise. The company was notified of the fraud, and the resident was advised to put a fraud alert on her credit cards.

Disturbance on Dawson Drive
Police were called to a Dawson Drive residence on Saturday, March 17 for the report of a disturbance. The individual involved left the area without incident.
