Police Reports: Woman Assaults Nurse at BIDH

A Needham woman who was found unresponsive on Trout Pond Lane allegedly assaulted a nurse while she was being treated at on Friday, April 20.
Police responded to a report of an “unresponsive female who was breathing” at Trout Pond Lane at around 8:43 p.m. The woman was transported to Beth Israel in Needham for evaluation.
Shortly after, police were called to the hospital’s emergency room after the woman became “assaultive,” according to reports. The woman had to be restrained after she allegedly assaulted a nurse.

The woman, a 33-year-old Needham resident, was charged with assault and battery.

Nail Clippers Stolen
Fingernail clippers and food were reported stolen from on Great Plain Avenue on Sunday, April 22. Police are investigating.
Threats Reported at Pharmacy
Police were called to on Great Plain Avenue on Tuesday, April 17 for the report of past threats. No threats to commit a crime were made, according to reports.
Graffiti Found Behind Fremont Street Business
Police are investigating a case of vandalism behind a business on Fremont Street.
On Wednesday, April 18 at around 10:50 p.m., a Needham police officer reported seeing a white male behind Süd-Chemie Inc. on Fremont Street. The individual reportedly fled when the cruiser spotlight was shown on him. After searching the area, police found backpacks, spray paint and house paint and some beer and trash. There was fresh graffiti on the wall, and house paint had been used to cover up old markings on the wall, according to reports.
Police searched the railroad tracks and woods between Reservoir and Fremont streets but did not locate the individual, according to reports. The matter is under investigation.
