Quinobequin Quilters Quilt Show Continues Today
Over 130 quilts are currently on display.
The Quinobequin Quilters Quilt Show is back with a dazzling array of colorful, whimsical and intricate quilts. Held at the Masonic Lodge at 1101 Highland Ave., the show is open today from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Held once every two years, the show began its 2010 run yesterday and wraps up today with 130 quilts made by 53 quilters hailing from 13 towns. Guests to the show will have a chance to view large, multi-patterned quilts in the first room and have a chance to look at smaller versions in the next area, while also taking in quilts that had to meet certain "challenge" requirements, including color themes.
At the end of a viewing, guests can vote on their favorite quilts in four different categories. A scavenger hunt can also be found, ideal for those looking for hidden gems and fun facts.
