Road Closures Around Needham for Fourth of July Events

The town of Needham announced several road closures on Wednesday ahead of upcoming Fourth of July holiday.

Roads throughout the area will be closed at various times on both July 3 and July 4. Motorists will want to take note as traveling about may become an issue for some.

July 3

• Rosemary from Webster to Highland - 5pm
• Kingsbury From Webster to Oakland Ave - 5pm
• Fair oaks from Kingsbury to May - 6pm
• Warren St from Kingsbury to May - 6pm
• Pickering St from Kingsbury to May - 6pm
• Rosemary St @ Hillside Ave - 715pm
• Highland Ave between Oakland and Rosemary - 7pm
• Highland Ave between Rosemary and Carey - 8pm

July 4

• Great Plain from Fair Oaks to Chapel - 7am to 10am
• Dedham Ave from Lincoln to Great Plain - 7am to 10am
• Chapel from Great Plain to May - 8am to 10am
• May from Garden to Webster - 8am to 10am
• Webster from May to High - 8:30am to 11am
• Highland Ave from Great Plain to Rosemary - 8:30am to 1pm
• Highland Ave from Hunnewell to Rosemary - 8:30am to 1pm
• Hunnewell from Highland to West - 8:30am to 12pm
• West St from Hillside to Hunnewell - 8:30am to 12pm
• High St from Manning to Webster - 9am to 12pm
• No access to Webster St from the following streets: Powers, Holland, Brookline, Lindbergh, Lassalle, Homestead, Hoover, Thorpe - 8:30am to 12pm
• The following streets are closed between Webster and Highland: Carey Rd, Morton and Mellen
