Route 128 South Goes To 1 Lane Friday Night
The lane reduction will take place between the Route 9 interchange (Exit 20) and the Central Avenue Bridge.

The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) has announced during the off-peak, overnight hours of 10 p.m., Friday through 7 a.m., Saturday, Route 128/Interstate 95 South will be reduced from three to one lane of travel between the area of the Route 9 interchange (Exit 20) and the Central Avenue Bridge in Needham.
This travel impact is necessary in order to allow crews to safely and effectively conduct construction operations as part of the ongoing Route 128/I-95 Add-A-Lane project.

Drivers who are traveling through the area should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution. All scheduled work is weather dependent and subject to change without notice.
