School Bus, Car Collide; No Children Involved

Minor injuries were reported after a bus and car collided.

Needham Police related on Saturday that a school bus and a motor vehicle collided with one another on Feb. 11.

According to reports, the two vehicle were involved in a head-on crash in the area of 307 High Rock St. Police responded to the scene at 3:30 p.m.

The driver of the bus was the vehicle’s only occupant at the time and he suffered minor injuries, according to police. The car involved contained a single occupant, who was treated for injuries by the Needham Fire Department before being transported to Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Boston.

Needham Police Lt. Chris Baker confirmed that the bus is not one chartered by the Town of Needham.

Needham Police are actively investigating the accident.
