Senior Center Month Continues with ‘Love Letters’
National Senior Center Month continues with another "Behind the Scenes" tour and a theater production.

National Senior Center Month continues as the Needham Council on Aging (COA) presents part two of their open house program.
Titled "In the Scenes," the open house will take place on Thursday and offer guests a chance to see all of the 40 plus groups and programs available at the Center. Tables will offer a host of information and members of various groups will be on hand to answer questions.
The open house will additionally feature free drawings and a brunch buffet.

On Friday, a special theater production of "Love Letters" will be performed at the Senior Center with thespians Lynne McKenney Lydick and Richard Clark. Once performed on Broadway, the play tells the story of two childhood friends who keep correspondence throughout the World War II era with thank you notes and summer camp postcards before both realize how much they mean to one another.
"Love Letters" will be performed on Friday at 1:30 p.m.

In other notes for the week, Monday's Tai Chi Class at 9 a.m. will be held at Christ Episcopal Church, while Tuesday's Ballroom Dancing at 2 p.m. and Thursday's Arthritis Exercise at 2 p.m. will take place at the Charles River YMCA. All other events take place at the Stephen Palmer building.
