UPDATE: No Needham Trains to South Station Friday Morning

NEEDHAM, MA - The signal issue between Back Bay and South Station will keep commuters from the usual final stop Friday morning.

Thursday night, the MBTA announced that only trains on the Franklin and Providence/Stoughton lines will to do South Station. All other inbound trains will stop before the usual final destination.

For commuters on the Needham line, Forest Hills will be the last stop for trains going into Boston.

Those who need to get to South Station will have to take the Orange Line from Forest Hills and cross over to the Red Line at Downtown Crossing.
