Smashed Windshield, Crash: Needham Police Log

The following is from the Needham Police Log. Arrests and charges mentioned don't imply conviction.

January 9

10:00 a.m. - An officer stopped a motor vehicle on Webster Street for failing to stop at a red light. The operator of the vehicle had a revoked driver's license. The operator, a 31-year-old Boston man, will be summoned into Dedham District Court for operating after revocation and a red light violation.

11:00 a.m. - An officer took a walk in report from a Waltham woman. She stated she was at Staples Office Store on Highland Avenue on Jan. 7 at approximately 5:30 p.m. and lost sight of her wallet. It has not been found. The matter is under investigation.

2:15 p.m. - An officer took a report of a past larceny of a debit card at a Highland Avenue business. The victim stated his debit card had been stolen from his residence possibly by an employee. Several charges have been against the card. The matter is currently under investigation.

5:50 p.m. - An officer was dispatched to a Second Avenue address for a reported theft of a passport. The matter remains under investigation.

January 11

11:15 a.m. - Officers responded to the Needham Heights Shell on Highland Avenue for a report of a vehicle that struck part of the building. Upon further investigation it was determined to be a very minor crash. There were no injuries reported.

January 12

2:07 a.m. - An officer responded to a B Street business for a report of vandalism. The reporting party said that the rear windshield to his vehicle had been smashed out. The matter is under investigation.
