Stolen Bike, Theft At Business, And More: Needham Police Log

May 30

6:45 a.m. - An officer made a motor vehicle stop and following a subsequent investigation, it was determined that the vehicle's registration was revoked. The operator, a 54-year-old Medfield woman, will be summoned to Dedham District court for operating a motor vehicle with revoked registration.

A resident of India who was staying at a local hotel reported he lost his passport. He will apply for a new one.

An Edgewater Drive resident reported some jewelry missing from her bedroom. The matter is under investigation.

5:30 p.m. - An officer initiated a traffic stop for a vehicle who failed to display an inspection sticker. The operator, a 44-year-old man, was cited and will be summoned to Dedham District Court for operating with a revoked license as a habitual traffic offender. The operator’s brother came and picked up the operator and the vehicle.

May 31

7:00 p.m. - A Needham resident responded to the police station to report that a bike was stolen sometime between 7:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. at the Pollard School.

June 1

12:58 p.m. - An Officer responded to a Great Plain Avenue business for a report of a past larceny. The matter is under investigation.
