Stolen Bike, Tree Strikes Car, And More: Needham Police Log

August 7
9:52 p.m. - An officer took a walk-in report of prior juvenile trouble. The reporting party stated they were confronted by another group of individuals they were having an ongoing issue with. The matter is still under investigation.

August 8
6:15 a.m. - An officer stopped a vehicle on Highland Ave near Cross Street. The owner, a 31-year-old Methuen man, was cited and was issued a summons for allowing operation of a motor vehicle with revoked registration and uninsured motor vehicle.

5:20 p.m. - Police dispatch broadcasted that a bicycle was stolen from the McDonald's parking lot on Chestnut Street. A person matching the description was located on Murphy Road. The bike was there as well. An 18-year-old Needham man will be summonsed for receiving stolen property over $250 and malicious destruction of property over $250.
August 9
6:30 p.m. - An officer was dispatched to Doane Avenue for a report that a tree branch had fallen on a parked car. The party was advised to contact his insurance company and the DPW was notified about the incident.
7:18 p.m. - An officer conducted a traffic stop in the area of West Street and Elliot Road. The operator of the vehicle, Manuel Pomvillaminato, 33, of Milford, was arrested and charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and speeding. He was released on bail a short time later.
