Suffolk County Prosecutor Named to Mass. Parole Board
Paul Treseler has served as a prosecutor in the Suffolk District Attorney's Office for almost 20 years.

Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker named a longtime Suffolk County prosecutor to the state’s parole board on Wednesday.
Paul Treseler is the first individual appointed by Baker to the seven-member board. As a member of the board, Treseler will help determine whether prisoners are eligible for parole.
Treseler has served as a prosecutor in the Suffolk District Attorney’s Office for almost 20 years.

If the Governor’s Council approves Baker’s selection, Treseler will serve a five-year term.
Treseler is a man who shows ”commitment to the law and achieving justice for victims of crimes,” according to Baker.
