Trespassing, Driver In Crash Leaves And Crashes Again, And More: Needham Police Log

The following is from the Needham Police Log. Arrests and charges mentioned don't imply conviction.

September 27

1:00 p.m. - An officer responded to a Reservoir Avenue address for a property line dispute. Both parties involved agreed to look into the situation.

1:10 p.m. - An officer took a report of a three-car crash at the intersection Highland Avenue and Webster Street. All parties exchanged required information. A short time later a vehicle involved in the crash, struck another vehicle at the intersection of Guild Road and Webster Street. The operator/registered owner, a 29-year-old Waltham man, was cited for failure to use care while turning and leaving the scene of a property damage crash. He will be summoned to Dedham District Court for the violations.

4:10 p.m. - A Mellen Street resident came to the police station to report that her pocketbook had been stolen from her car while it was parked at Memorial Park. Taken were prescription medicine, make up, and a credit card. No damage was done to the car.

8:44 p.m. - An officer responded to a Chestnut Street address for a report of a larceny from a motor vehicle where a backpack with electronic equipment was stolen.

September 29

9:03 a.m. - An officer initiated a traffic stop on South Street by Great Plain Avenue for a marked lanes violation. Dispatch reported that the vehicle was revoked and the operator was unlicensed. A 57-year-old Needham man was issued a summons for operating with a revoked registration, operating without insurance and operating without a unlicensed.

5:07 p.m. - An officer responded to a reported disturbance on an MBTA bus near the intersection of Highland Avenue and Rosemary Street. After speaking with the parties involved it appeared that the issue was a misunderstanding. All involved parties boarded the MBTA Bus and it continued on its route without incident.


September 30

5:50 p.m. - An officer responded to a Country Way address for the report of a cab fare dispute. A fare was agreed upon and all parties went on their way.

10:15 p.m. - An officer responded to Claxton Field for the report of a suspicious motor vehicle. After a brief investigation, the registered owner of the vehicle was located across the street at the RTS. Lauren Brunetti, 37, of Milford, was arrested for trespassing after she was located inside a trailer at the RTS.
