Two Juveniles Face Charges for B&E Into Car; Housebreak on Winfield

The Needham PD supplied the following information. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Sunday, Aug. 31

  • At 2:15 a.m., police responded to a report of two juveniles breaking into a vehicle on Sachem Road. One was places under arrest for B&E with intent to commit a misdemeanor. Another Needham juvenile male will be summonsed to court for B&E with intent to commit a misdemeanor.
  • At 11 a.m., police responded to Brookline Street for a report of vandalism.
  • At 1:05 p.m., police stopped a car on A Street. The driver, Mathew Sheehan, a 34-year-old Holdbrook man, was arrested for operating with a suspended license. He also was wanted on a warrant for operating with a suspended license.

Monday, Sept. 1

  • At 2 p.m., police responded to Winfield Street to investigate a report of past breaking and entering into a residence-35 Winfield St. The homeowner reported that jewelry and electronics were taken.
  • At 2:45 p.m., a 25-year-old Pheasant Road man reported that his father’s car was broken into on Saturday. An iPad and $45 in cash was reported stolen.
  • At 10:19 p.m., police took a report from a Needham resident at the station who said someone had thrown a glass bottle onto his driveway
