Vandalism, Flying Briefcase, And More: Needham Police Log

October 7

An officer responded to a Great Plain Avenue residence for a report of a phone scam. The victim gave out details while on the phone with someone he later believed to be trying to obtain his personal information.

4:30 p.m. - An officer responded to a Highland Avenue business for the report of a disturbance. The reporting person stated they were involved in an altercation with an employee. No charges will be taken out at this time. A report of the incident will be made.

6:10 p.m. - An Officer responded to a report of an unconscious man near High Rock and Warren streets. It was determined that the male party had been intoxicated and tried walking home and passed out. The 22-year-old Needham man was given a ride home and released into the custody of his mother.

October 8

3:30 p.m. - A walk-in reported that they left a briefcase on the roof of his car and drove off. The items have not yet been found.

4:30 p.m. - An officer responded to a report of suspected vandalism at a Grove Street home. The mailbox was knocked off its post.
