Vandalism to a Needham High Field and a Strange Acting Female: Needham Police Log

January 25
8:00 p.m. - An employee at Town House of Pizza advised an officer of a 28-year-old female from Weymouth who was acting strangely. The same female had contacted the police department several times making unrealistic statements. The Weymouth Police Department was advised of the situation.

January 26
11:00 a.m. - An officer on patrol in the area of Great Plain Avenue and Chapel Street observed a blue Mazda traveling westbound while displaying an expired registration sticker. The officer stopped the vehicle and after further investigation, it was determined that the driver, Keith Carberry, 23, of Walpole, was operating an unregistered motor vehicle and an uninsured motor vehicle. It was also determined that Carberry was operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and had attached registration plates from another motor vehicle to the vehicle he was operating. Carberry was placed under arrest and transported to the Needham Police department for procedural booking.

12:30 p.m. - An officer spoke to a Needham High School custodian who stated that between 11:00 pm on Jan. 24 and the morning of Jan. 25, someone drove over the field next to the tennis courts. There were several feet of tire marks on the snow and grass and a few spots where the dirt had been dug up with the tires. At this time, it is unknown who caused the damage.
