Vandalism, Operating To Endanger, And More: Needham Police Log
The following is from the Needham Police Log. Arrests and charges mentioned don't imply conviction.

July 4
7:15 a.m. - Officers were informed from dispatch that a 911 caller was reporting that a green Toyota Camry was operating erratically in traffic, crossing double yellow lines and had almost caused an accident. The suspect vehicle was located and stopped on Central Avenue. After subsequent investigation, it was determined that the driver, a 19-year-old Wrentham man, was not under the influence of alcohol or drugs, but was issued a summons for being a minor transporting alcohol.
July 5

1:10 p.m. - An officer was dispatched to a Stacey Lane address for a report of vandalism. Some graffiti had been found on the side of the building. The matter remains under investigation.
8:27 p.m. - An officer responded to a Brookside Road address for a report of a possible past larceny. The reporting party believed that a solicitor may have taken her wallet from her home, which had since been recovered from the street with the contents still inside. The solicitor located and identified. The incident is under investigation.

July 6
10:00 a.m. - A Morningside Road resident came to the police station to report that his car was keyed while it was parked in a parking lot in Needham Square.
12:00 p.m. - A High Rock Street resident came to the police station to report that his front license plate had been lost or stolen. The registration was entered into the NCIC database.
July 8
3:00 p.m. - A suspicious person entered a business at Highland Avenue and was asked to leave and not return. The party left without incident.
July 9
4:00 p.m. - A Mayo Avenue resident walked into the police station to report a past fraud. He stated someone opened an account at TD Bank under his name. He contacted the fraud department and reported it to all credit bureaus.
July 10
3:00 a.m. - An officer encountered an 18-year-old Needham woman attempting to drive a wrecked car down Central Avenue near Claxton Field. An open bottle of vodka was discovered in the vehicle. After further investigation the woman will be charged with operating to endanger, minor in possession of alcohol and failing to remain within marked lanes.
