Vandalism, Trespassing, And More: Needham Police Log
The following is from the Needham Police Log. Arrests and charges mentioned don't imply conviction.

June 8
1:40 p.m. - An officer responded to a Panella's Market on Central Ave for a report of vandalism. On arrival, the reporting party stated that someone had defecated outside on the property overnight. The matter is under investigation.
3:30 p.m. - A Hunnewell Street resident reported that his bicycle was stolen from the bike rack at the Pollard School sometime during the day.

3:45 p.m. - Officers responded to a Mayflower Road address for a report of a person who had just entered the garage and stole a bicycle. The person was stopped a short distance away by officers from the Wellesley Police Department. As a result, Michael Rivera, 22, of Framingham, was arrested and charged with larceny of property over $250 and trespassing.
8:00 p.m. - A Brewster Drive resident came to the police station to report an attempted identity fraud. The resident received a notification from Chase Bank saying that an attempted had been made to open an Amazon Chase credit card using residence's name, social security number, and credit card number. Resident has notified credit reporting agency.
June 11
12:00 p.m. - A walk-in reported that his vehicle was broken into in the area of Ellicot Street. Almost all of the items were later retrieved.
1:30 p.m. - An Officer was dispatched to a Highland Avenue address for a report of a dog left unattended in a hot car. Upon arrival, officers located the motor vehicle in question and were able to find the owners of the vehicle to retrieve the dog. Both parties, a 28-year-old Newton man and 26-year-old Lawrence woman, were advised of the danger of leaving dogs in locked in a hot motor vehicle. The matter was referred to the Needham Animal Control Officer for follow up.
