Watch Out For the Needham Coyotes
Police say a person with two dogs came across the two coyotes

Needham, MA — Coyotes have been spotted in Needham, police said.
On July 7 at about 1:30 p.m., the animal control officer responded to the Olin College athletic fields for a report of a coyote encounter. The reporting person told the officer that they were walking two unleashed dogs across the campus and on trails in the woods. During the walk, they came across two coyotes and one of the dogs chased the coyotes out of site. The dog was located and there were no injuries.
The Needham Police Departments advises residents to keep their dogs on a leash to avoid similar wildlife encounters.

"Coyotes are inhabiting different areas of town and appear healthy. Please only report sightings of potentially sick or injured wildlife," the department wrote on Facebook.
