Wellesley Resident Recognized at New Beth Israel Deaconess Cancer Center & Surgical Pavilion in Needham
A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held recently.

Massachusetts State Senator Richard Ross presents Jennifer Pline, Wellesley resident and Chair of the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Needham Board of Trustees, with a citation to recognize the opening of the Beth Israel Deaconess Cancer Center and Surgical Pavilion in Needham.
The state-of-the-art, 30,000-square-foot facility, adjacent to BID-Needham, features a multidisciplinary approach with medical oncology and radiation oncology on the first floor and an expanded surgical pavilion on the second floor. The facility was designed with input from patients to accommodate easy access to world-class care, with pervasive natural lighting and a series of private infusion suites that overlook a healing garden.
