What’s Closed in Needham on Labor Day?

While it would be inaccurate to say that Needham becomes a ghost town on Labor Day, it certainly will resemble a shell of its usual self.

Most people are aware that the governmental establishments (Town Hall, Post Office, etc.) are closed and that kids get a day off from school, but you may want to call ahead at your favorite restaurant to see if they are indeed open today. Usual spots like the supermarkets and gas stations will be open for business, but some places, like Needham gyms, may be closing early.

If you are looking to travel today, keep in mind that Labor Day is one of the few days of the year that the MBTA runs no service.
