With Halloween approaching, there are some treats and some tricks (depending on who asks) available through Needham residents on Craigslist, as well as a few items for around the house. Below is a sampling of items that our neighbors are selling on the online marketplace.

Winnie the Pooh Costume

Just in time for Halloween, is this children's outfit, which was reportedly purchased at Walt Disney World and talks. Worn only once before, the suit is a size 2-4T and can be yours for $25.

Upright Piano

Free to whoever wants it first, this instrument is in need of tuning. However, the seller specifies that all of its keys are in working order.

Old Lenox China Piece

A vintage piece of Lenox China, which the seller writes is "collectible," is selling in Needham for $30. The item is listed as in "like new condition," measures 7.6 inches tall and can hold 20 ounces of liquid.

Binoculars

Looking to do some bird watching? Or would you like to experience the serenity of fall foliage from the comforts of your home? These seven by 35 inch Korvettes binoculars might be what you're looking for. The field of view measures 358 ft at 1,000 yards and is available for $20. A strap will also be thrown into the deal, writes the seller.

Blitzkrieg Board Game

A strategic war simulation board game published in 1965, "Blitzkrieg" simulates military technology available during World War II. The contents of the specific version available in Needham appear to contain all pieces and instruction booklets, according to the seller. The asking price is $20.

New Composite Hockey Stick

With colder weather approaching, many a Needham child's mind might be on hockey and this stick might be just what they need. A Nike Bauer Vapor XVI, the stick is selling for $60.

Natuzzi White Leather Sofa

This couch is listed as in "good" condition with no tears or holes. The seller relates that he recently moved and does not have the space. The asking price is $50.

1989 Pontiac Firebird GTA

No pictures are available of this vehicle, but the seller writes that he is looking for a more practical car for himself and that the time has come to "let my baby go." The seller purchased the car in March 2009, has driven the car in the spring and summer, and then garaged it during the fall and winter months.

According to the post, the car needs a new coat of paint, is missing a muffler, contains "noticeable" dents and the doors cannot be locked from the outside. There are only 79,000 miles on the engine, though, and various items are new, such as the headlight motors and the radio. The asking price is $5, 500.
