When is winter break? What other holidays do the students and teachers have? Here's a look at the winter season calendar.
NEEDHAM, MA —The kids and teachers are psyched. Parents, maybe not so much. But there are a number of calendar dates to note where school is out and the kids run free from classes.
Here are some notable dates on the Needham schools calendar this winter:
- Nov. 22 - No school for professional development
- Nov. 23-24 - Thanksgiving break
- Dec. 6 - PreK-8 Delayed Opening
- Dec. 25-Jan. 1 - Winter break
- Jan. 15 - Martin Luther King Jr. Day
- Jan. 16 - PreK-8 Delayed Opening
- Jan. 31 - PreK-12 Early Release
- Feb. 13 - PreK-8 Early Release
- Feb. 19-23 - February break
