Work at Needham Crossing Coming Along

NEEDHAM, MA — Work at the mixed-use development Needham Crossing is coming along, according to a town official.

The area, which sits next to Route 128, is set to have both commercial and residential developments. Plans include a new hotel, renovated office space, a 390-unit affordable housing complex called the 2nd Avenue Residences, two garages, and commercial space, according to the Needham Times. Work has also begun on the expansion of TripAdvisor's garage.

Zoning changes for the project were approved at May's town meeting.
