St. Patrick's Day is tomorrow, and many in Needham may be celebrating the colorful holiday at in Newton—the winner of this week's award for Best Place To Celebrate St. Patrick's Day.

The Irish pub located at 344 Elliott St., Newton has been serving up delicious fare and a variety of drinks and brews for more than 20 years and has a five-star rating on Newton Patch Places. In Best of Needham - Readers' Choice poll, the pub received 60 percent of the Needham vote among a list of local eateries in Needham, Dedham and Newton.

, the restaurant received 44 percent of readers' votes and several rave reviews.

"Dunn Gaherin's would be right up there for best bar in Newton, so it's a slam dunk for best bar on St Patrick's Day," Newton Patch user Jerry Reilly wrote.

Patch user Irena added: "Dunn Gaherin's all the way! Unbelievably great food AND fun, friendly atmosphere. What more could you want from a bar/pub? Especially on St. Patrick's Day."

A bartender at Dunn Gaherin's shared some of the specials that will be offered as part of this year's St. Patrick's Day celebration:

"This St. Patty's Day is going to be awesome! Not only are they rolling out a special menu, we're serving up fresh made Guinness Ice Cream Floats and Guinness Chocolate Cupcakes with Bailey's Cream Cheese Frosting," the bartender, a Patch user named Kate, wrote.
