Nightly Road Closures Hit 3 New Bedford Streets Through August (wbsm.com) — Nightly closures are coming to Route 18, Purchase Street, and County Street in New Bedford starting this Sunday, running 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. into August for Route 18 rehabilitation work. Fresh off reopening in January, The Z now offers upgraded accessibility, new lounges, classrooms, and rental spaces, reinforcing its role as a central gathering place for arts and community events downtown.
