(thetowncommon.com) — Newburyport Adult and Community Education is opening registration for its fall semester, offering 65 classes from cooking and languages to yoga, genealogy, SAT prep, and coastal New England watercolor. Space fills quickly, and residents across Greater Newburyport and southern New Hampshire are encouraged to sign up online now for September–November courses open to ages 15 and up. 
• Stages: M2 and Hanover have fall offerings ready for registration (sentinelandenterprise.com) — Area theater groups are opening registration for fall performing arts classes, and Newburyport gets a nod with news that Jack Neary’s comedy “Jerry Finnegan’s Sister” will be staged at the Firehouse Center by Acting Out Productions this October. Details are still to come, but local theater fans can already start planning for a Newburyport night out.
