200+ Health Professionals Endorse Natalia Linos for Congress
Citing her expertise in public health and COVID-19 plan, over 200 health professionals back Dr. Natalia Linos for Congress

BROOKLINE, MA -- Over 200 health professionals from Massachusetts and the nation have endorsed Dr. Natalia Linos for Congress, building on significant momentum leading up to the September 1 Primary. The diverse coalition of health professionals are united in their support for Dr. Linos’ platform for science-based leadership.
Endorsements include Dr. Patrice Nicholas, Professor and Director of the Center for Climate Change, MGH Institute of Health Professions School of Nursing, Dr. Kee Park, Lecturer on Global Health and Social Medicine, Harvard Medical School, Dr. Dolores Acevedo-Garcia, Director of the Institute for Child, Youth and Family Policy at Brandeis University; Dr. Jason Harris, Pediatric infectious disease physician and Chief, Pediatric Global Health, Massachusetts General Hospital; Dr. Iraklis Gerogiannis, Chief of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Southcoast Health; Dr. Mary T. Bassett, Harvard Professor and Former New York City Health Commissioner; and Dr. Nancy Street, Co-Director at Global Nursing Caucus. All endorsements were made in a personal capacity.

“I am honored and humbled by the support of so many front-line health care workers, infectious disease experts, and public health leaders who have been working tirelessly to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic,” Dr. Linos said in a statement. “They deserve a Congress that values and respects their service.”
Many of the heath professionals cited Dr. Linos' extensive COVID-19 Response and Recovery Plan as the most comprehensive and equitable and note her background in global public health as a much-needed perspective in our federal government.
