Amy Sangiolo To Host 13th And Final Running Event Oct. 3

NEWTON, MA — Mayoral candidate Amy Sangiolo will host her 13th and final "Run With Amy" event on Sunday, Oct. 3, inviting residents to join her to get some exercise and discuss current issues, learn about her positions, and ask questions.

This Sunday's event will take place in Newton Centre starting at 9:30 a.m. The run will begin and end at the parking lot across from Johnny’s Luncheonette, located at 30 Langley Road.

“I’ve loved holding my Run With Amy events because I get the opportunity to hear what issues residents are dealing with straight from them,” said Sangiolo in a statement. “I’ve been taking notes after each run and will be releasing those thoughts over the next month, to show Newton’s residents that their concerns are my top priority.”

Those who do not want to run the 1.5 mile route are invited to join the outdoor discussion over coffee at 9:30 a.m. All participants are asked to RSVP here.

Residents who are unable to attend the final Run With Amy event can meet with Sangiolo at Newton Upper Falls Village Day on Oct. 3 from 11 to 2. Sangiolo will also be running with supporters in Paddy’s Road Race on Sunday, Oct. 17.
