UDPATE: Bomb Threat at Newton School, Among Several Reported

NEWTON, MA -- Emergency response crews responded to a bomb threat at a school in Newton on Tuesday morning, one of several threats called into area schools.

Massachusetts Fire Alerts is reporting that a bomb threat was made shortly before 11 a.m. to Newton North High School, and said it was “one of many today.”

Newton police reported at 1:30 p.m. that everything was clear, and “no threat was found.”

Several threats have been reported across schools in Massachusetts Tuesday for the second time in a week. On Friday, at least eight schools were threatened.
