Bomb Threats at Schools Across MA Friday

Threats were made to schools in multiple Massachusetts communities Friday.

Authorities reported the threats at:

• Boston College High School in Boston
• Two Weymouth middle schools
• Two Arlington schools
• Falmouth High School
• Bourne High School
• Mashpee High School
• Quabbin Regional High School in Barre
• Plymouth South High School in Plymouth

None of the the threats were deemed credible and no students have been harmed. Most of the schools were evacuated as a precaution, however.

On Thursday night, there was another threat at Chelsea High School.

Falmouth police released this statement Friday:

“This afternoon the Falmouth High School received a bomb threat. An investigation revealed that the threat is likely a hoax, nonetheless the students and staff were evacuated from the school as a precaution and the school is being searched. The threat is one of many that was directed to several schools in the region.”
