Casey Vaughan was seriously injured when an SUV crashed through the front of a Sweet Tomatoes in Newton earlier this month.

NEWTON, MA - The Bruins have a special message for Casey Vaughan: Get well soon.

Vaughan was seriously injured earlier this month when an SUV collided with the front of the Sweet Tomatoes pizza where she worked as manager. She was one of seven wounded in the crash that killed two.

Bruins players David Krejci, Ryan Spooner, Jimmy Hayes, Zdeno Chara, Tuukka Rask and Patrice Bergeron sent her best wishes in a video shared by Vaughan on her Facebook page over the weekend.

Vaughan took the encouragement to heart as she wrote, "This plus all my visitors and surprises today, I could melt. Things are looking up."
